Nick Howard

Nick Howard is an accomplished singer-songwriter, producer, and music executive with a global career spanning over three decades.

Signed to BMG, Arista UK (via Simon Cowell), and Ariola Germany in the early '90s, Nick released his debut album *Sound of Breathing*, recorded across New York, LA, and London. The album featured Top 40 hits and a contribution from hitmaker Robbie Nevil.

Nick co-wrote and produced with international names like Tommy Faragher, Rick Will, Phil Harding, and Randy Goodrem, and toured with iconic acts including Take That, Boyzone, and M People. He later founded RnB Music and Tonic Music Productions, developing emerging talent and producing chart-topping songs such as *Down* (Bardot) and *Perdi Você* (Twister), which hit No.1 in Brazil.

A prolific writer and producer, Nick has created music for major TV series like *Popstars*, *Girl TV*, and *Gurls Wurld*, and collaborated with artists including Delta Goodrem, Sophie Monk, and Sarah Geronimo. He has also worked with major publishers like Sony and served as Head of Music for talent development organizations.

From 2016 to 2023, Nick was based in Los Angeles as Head of Touring for his son, global artist The Kid LAROI. He now performs regularly in Sydney as a singer and pianist, blending original songs with timeless covers at live venues and Club 88 Virtual Piano Bar.

  • CLUB 88 is a live and virtual piano bar experience led by Nick Howard — a seasoned singer, songwriter, and pianist. It’s a place for feel-good music, crowd favourites, and spontaneous moments, all wrapped in rock n’ roll charm and good vibes.

  • The name pays tribute to the 88 keys on a piano — the heart of every CLUB 88 session. It’s a nod to music lovers and the timeless joy of live piano performance, whether you’re at a bar, a backyard, or tuning in from home.

  • Both! CLUB 88 began as a virtual piano bar streaming on Friday nights and has grown to include live gigs at venues around Australia and beyond. Whether online or in person, every show brings a lighthearted musical adventure with the same warmth, spontaneity, and soul.

  • A QR puck is our cheeky little tool for song requests! These acrylic coasters, shaped like hockey pucks, feature a QR code that guests can scan to request songs in real time — no more writing on cocktail napkins or trying to find a break in between songs to get your request heard! Tip: add a personal message or submit a suggestion if you don’t see your song on the list!
